ELIGIBILITY
HONORARY MEMBER (INDIVIDUAL)
Prominent individuals of high standing and repute, preferably from the engineering profession may be conferred Honorary Membership of the Association.
Member (Individual) who has been on the roll of the Association for 5 years and his/her subscription is not in arrears, may opt to become a Life Member (Individual) after paying one time subscription as under:-
Age of Member Subscription
a) above 60 years : 5 times annual subscription
b) above 70 years : 2 times annual subscription
2.3.2 Life Membership will, however, be subject to a member continuing practice as a Consulting Engineer
Every applicant for Member (Individual) of the Association shall satisfy the Governing Council that he
a) is a Corporate Member of a recognized professional engineering society in India or abroad
and
b) is in the profession of Consulting Engineering for not less than five years, practicing individually or as a partner, or consultant of a firm of Consulting Engineers or has been in service in a responsible capacity in a reputed firm of Consulting Engineers,
or
c) has retired from the engineering profession from a position of high responsibility and has been practicing as Consulting Engineer for not less than two years.
Annual Subscription for MEMBER (Individual) is Rs 1,500
Every applicant for MEMBER (Organisation) shall satisfy the Governing Council that:
the organization, registered/incorporated in India, is in the practice of Consulting Engineering industry for not less than two years, and has annual turnover of not less than Rs 10,00,000 from consultancy practice.

| Member (EPC Organisation) |
Engineering, Procurement & Construction Firms having a minimum experience of 2 years and a minimum annual turnover of Rs 500 million and above can be admitted as Member (EPC Organisation) at the discretion of the Governing Council.
Annual Membership Subscription for Member (EPC Organisation) is Rs 50,000.
| Affiliate Member (Individual) |
Every applicant for AFFILIATE MEMBER (Individual) shall satisfy the Governing Council that:
a) being an individual not eligible for membership, he has been actively involved in the practice of Consulting Engineering industry for a minimum period of two years and has made significant contributions to the advancement of the industry
and
b) being a qualified engineer, he has retired from service from a position of high responsibility and has started practicing as Consulting Engineer
or
c) Annual Subscription for Affiliate Member (Individual) is Rs 1,500
| Affiliate Member (Organisation) |
Every applicant for Affiliate Member (Organisation) shall satisfy the Governing Council that the firm/ organization/ institution
a) subscribes to the aims and objectives of the Consulting Engineers Association of India
b) is engaged in activities relevant to the Consulting Engineering profession.

Admission Fee
An admission fee equivalent to annual subscription is payable at the time of admission for all categories of membership.
Application Procedure
Applications on the prescribed form (available from CEAI Secretariat), duly filled in and supported by two Members relevant supporting documents and a cheque/demand draft payable at Delhi, for Rs 500/- for Member/Affiliate Member (Individual) and Rs 1,000/- for Member/Affiliate Member (Organisation) & Member (EPC Organisation) towards Application Registration Fee (non-refundable) should be sent to the Secretariat Office.
Rights & Privileges
Rights and Privileges of Affiliate Members shall be the same as members except that they:
a) shall have no voting right
b) shall not be eligible to be member of the Governing Council
c) shall not be eligible to act as supporters for new members.
